Port Neches-Groves quarterback Roschon Johnson will sign his letter of intent with the University of Texas during a ceremony at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, at the high school competition gymnasium. Johnson has been orally committed to UT since the summer of 2016. Dec. 19 is the earliest he can officially commit to the Longhorns, as the early signing period runs for three days. This is the second year for the early signing period in football.

Johnson in 2018 has rushed 224 times for 1,485 yards and 26 touchdowns, and he’s completed 150 of 258 passes for 2,243 yards and 22 scores with eight interceptions.
